You're batting about .500....which would be leading the major leagues.
But, come on, Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy is a better album than Here Come the Warm Jets......and why no Whitesnake?

Neu gets cut for Stereolab? Has there been a head injury in the Hinman household?

Am I crazy because I've tried for over 20 years to get into Dream Syndicate and cannot?

Neu vs. Stereolab: both great records. The former hasn't been listened to in a few years, the latter has been a recent obsession. Listmaking - it's all in good fun, right?

nice list here. i kept waiting for the eno to kick in, as it appears higher in my lists. also, the preponderence of stones and no beatles takes away from the objective authority of a list of such good taste. dylan was absent too i think. on these types of enterprises i try to avoid using a band twice, but obviously you can never do that thanks to VU. also new order are number one.

anonymous, I'm not sure Dylan or the Beatles would be in my top 100 either at this point in my life, for what that's worth.

boring list...you on some real white boy shit, dunny

What? No Jack Starr's 'Born Petrified'? Wha' Happened?

That album trumps any Patti Smith records, let me tell you...

michael day is right. at this point i could prob list 100 best bands before i even thought of the beatles or dylan, but it just seems like they should be on there. they had all the impact and whatever. still, pink reason , ariel pink, chromatics, a-frames, JFA, stiff little fingers, etc, would all come to my mind before the old farts.
what about fahee ? he's dead. fuck. neil young ? cant forget the old farts.
